Film Club is created for students who are interested in films and the production of films. In this club students will learn how to brainstorm ideas, write a script, manage camera angles and lighting, cast potential actors, act, and edit. It gives students an opportunity to improve their production skills and work together as a team.
Film club aims to provide students with the opportunity to develop skills in writing, producing, acting, filming, and editing. It will help students who are interested in a career in broadcasting, film production, and journalism to participate in an activity that would develop the necessary skills to pursue their future goals. It will also assist in students’ curiosity in pursuing a film oriented career. Along with important production skills, students will also be guided on how to effectively transmit creative messages through film.
EIS Film Club recruits potential students to participate in our workshops and activities. We give students tips and knowledge on the various topics of film production, including pre-production, production, and post-production. We also use and analyze resources, such as existing award winning films, to learn from them and share our opinions and ideas openly as a group. A variety of projects and activities are also carried out, such as creating short films and film competitions.
